As apple appeared often in stories and anecdotes about Newton as well as in the Bible, it is a fruit that has many meanings and deep connections with us humans and our culture. Like the apple, the Daruma doll has inspired us humans. Daruma is a Japanese traditional doll, inspired and modeled after a monk in India that has spread the knowledge of Zen.

This apple is shaped like a Daruma doll. The forms of both, the apple and the Daruma doll are not just shapes, they represent a deep meaning and a profound connection to human being. I feel there is a similarity between the two.
